Fay Crevoshay is the Communications and Policy Director at WILDCOAST, where she has led strategic communications and policy initiatives since 2001. Based in San Diego, she develops advocacy strategies, cultivates relationships with key officials, and forges partnerships with the private and social sectors to advance conservation policies in Mexico and the United States.
Fay's internationally acclaimed conservation campaigns have been featured in The Wall Street Journal, NPR, The New York Times, BBC, CNN, and Televisa. She spearheaded groundbreaking initiatives such as “My Man Doesn’t Eat Sea Turtle Eggs,” credited as one of the most effective ocean campaigns by renowned scientist Dr. Randy Olson. She also led high-profile conservation campaigns with Mexican lucha libre legend El Hijo del Santo, rock band Maná, and Linkin Park to promote marine conservation and natural climate solutions.
Currently, Fay manages WILDCOAST’s Marine Debris program at the U.S.-Mexico border, working to prevent plastics and waste tires from polluting the Tijuana River and the Pacific Ocean.
Prior to WILDCOAST, Fay was a reporter for NPR and El Financiero and ran her own media relations firm. A native of Mexico City, she holds a B.A. in Economics from Bar-Ilan University (Israel), an M.A. in Political Science from York University (Toronto), and an M.A. in International Relations from Universidad de las Américas (Mexico City).
