Aline was born in the south of Brazil from an Italian /German family and educated in Brazil, Switzerland, Germany, UK and the USA.

After graduating in Pharmaceutical Sciences, she went back to Brazil and founded Stem Pharmaceutical at 21 years of age, being the first nutraceutical company in the country, which a few years later she successfully sold to another company.
She then went on to create Liyen & co, an investment company which aimed to invest in different sectors but mainly fulfil the gap of investments between Brazil and Middle East, which historically only did commodities trading.
Aline created through Liyen & Co an array of companies in consumer goods, manufacturing, energy, biofuel, real estate development, agribusiness, construction, and banking.

The first Latin American bank was taken to the UAE by Aline with countless challenges main one being cultural differences which were bridged through tolerance and open mind, building a very successful story which included having the first arab sovereign wealth fund to invest in Brazilian companies.

Campus PELE was another marvel created by Liyen which was a fund to invest on behalf of football players traded / signed which had a portion of the management to invest in young talented children that had the talent but no means or education to pursue the dream.

Over the past 15 years Aline has focused on building companies which are innovative and disruptive alongside multiple key investors and founders around the world with its main focus being sustainability, agritech and climatech .

Lately, a few companies which are a pride to Aline are those which have a great impact on moving the needle on decarbonisation, a few of them being: Mootral , climate draft and MAD impact.
