He holds a degree in Tourism Business Administration from the Instituto Tecnológico de Mérida, a master’s in public administration and government from the Universidad Anáhuac Mayab Campus, and a diploma in Public Policy from the Tecnológico de Monterrey, State of Mexico Campus, in coordination with the University of Barcelona, Spain.
He served as a local congressman in the State Congress representing District X based in Tizimín, and later as a federal deputy representing District I based in Valladolid. He was subsequently appointed as a delegate of the Ministry of Public Education (SEP).
He also served as the Yucatán State Delegate for the Ministry of Welfare during the 2018–2024 presidential term.
