Christine Keung is a General Partner at J2 Ventures, where she leads investments in dual-use technologies that serve both commercial and national security applications. Her career spans leadership roles in high-growth tech companies, including Dropbox and Figma, as well as public service positions at the federal, state, and municipal levels.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Christine joined a task force at the U.S. Small Business Administration to help launch the Paycheck Protection Program, which provided $800 billion in critical loans to small businesses. She later served as Chief Data Officer for the City of San Jose, where she secured over $1 million to enhance city services through data analytics .
Christine's commitment to public service and innovation has been recognized globally. She is a U.S. Department of State Fulbright Scholar, a Tech Policy Fellow at the Aspen Institute, and a member of Schmidt Futures’ International Strategy Forum . In 2017, she was named a Next Generation Leader by TIME Magazine and is the youngest recipient of the Rolex Awards for Enterprise .
Born in Italy and raised in Southern California, Christine is the first in her family to graduate from high school and college. She holds a B.A. in Economics from Wellesley College and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School .
