David is passionate about applying cutting-edge machine learning and data analysis techniques to complex challenges in climate and soil science. He holds a Ph.D. in space and plasma physics and has over 20 years of experience developing advanced analytics systems across academia and industry, on topics ranging from remote sensing for water resource management to hurricane disaster response. A former Peace Corps volunteer in Tanzania, David now focuses on soil carbon—sampling, modeling, and analysis—helping lead EarthOptics’ research and development strategy.
