Claudio is a successful and motivated project architect, with over (18) years of experience, and who recently joined our McAllen team. Claudio Leon graduated in 2004 with a B. Architecture. from the University of Houston. He worked as an architectural project manager for several years in the Rio Grande Valley, from 2005 to 2012, where he gained a wealth of design and project management experience in various building typologies, including Airport, Industrial and Healthcare type facilities. During this time, he also provided international project management support for Industrial projects located along the US-Mexico border. Later, in 2014, he successfully completed his MSc. degree at the Cologne University of Applied Sciences in Germany in the field of environmental sciences with a focus on renewable energy systems. Since then, he has gained experience in the field of Sustainable Building Design, particularly in the area of Whole Building Energy Simulation. In 2022 Mr. Leon came back to the United States Leon after being the Sustainability lead for AECOM in Germany. He is regularly actively involved in all areas of a project, from Schematic Design to performing Project Management and Construction Administration duties.
