Speaker Bio
Cristina Todd is a passionate public servant and community leader whose life’s work is deeply rooted in the Rotary motto, “Service Above Self.” A third-generation Rotarian who grew up immersed in the spirit of service, Cristina’s dedication to community engagement and sustainability has shaped every aspect of her life—as a civic leader, an educator, and a proud Rotarian of over 20 years.
Now in her third term as Assistant District Governor for Rotary District 5810 and an active member of Plano West Rotary, Cristina continues to champion the values that have guided her since childhood. Her Rotarian roots instilled in her a deep respect for legacy and sustainability. She is a firm believer that the impact we make today should carry on tomorrow—that every project, like every life touched, should leave a lasting footprint. As Cristina often says, "Rotary is not just about service—it’s about building legacies that can be passed from one generation to the next."
Rotary International’s global work emphasizes sustainability, ensuring that no project is left behind without a plan for it to thrive independently. Cristina sees this approach as a powerful metaphor for personal leadership—what we build should outlast us. And it is through this lens that she approaches both her Rotary work and her role on the Princeton City Council.
Cristina holds a Bachelor of Science in Integrated Studies and a Master’s in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of North Texas, with concentrations in Business Management, Sociology, Educational Leadership, and Behavioral Psychology. With nearly 20 years in Special Education, she is a highly regarded leader in Plano ISD, where she works to create inclusive, empowering environments for students and staff.
At the center of all her work is a simple but profound goal: to build meaningful connections, inspire others to serve, and help ensure that every voice in her community is not only heard but valued.
