Cathy is a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)-Qualified Airport Wildlife Biologist, and has managed DFW Airport’s Wildlife Program since 2006. She supervises and coordinates the activities of over 50 airfield staff and the airport’s Wildlife Program Technician to implement the airport’s Wildlife Hazard Management Plan following FAA regulations. Her duties include collaborating with Airfield Operations personnel, numerous airport board departments, and many partners and outside organizations to manage the airport’s Wildlife Hazard Mitigation Program. She has B.S. degrees in Biology and Wildlife Management from the University of Wisconsin- Stevens Point, and a M.S. degree in Biology from The University of Texas at Arlington.
