Sustainability & Environmental Leadership
At AT&T, Mohammed has been instrumental in advancing sustainability through major initiatives, including:

Driving environmental employee engagement strategy for 80+ Senior VPs across the U.S., EMEA, and APAC regions, fostering a culture of sustainability among a diverse workforce.
Leading the Zero Waste Employee Engagement, Earth Month, Sustainability education activities at AT&T Headquarters, implementing strategies to reduce waste and promote sustainable business practices.
Pioneering the AI Trash Can Initiative, integrating artificial intelligence for more efficient waste management.
Beyond AT&T, Mohammed plays a critical role in shaping sustainability efforts across different sectors:
As Chair of Sustainability for the National Cricket League USA, he is leading the league’s 2030 goal of achieving carbon neutrality, bringing sustainability into the world of sports.
As Chairman of the Asian Chamber of Texas, he led the organization to become the first Asian Chamber in Texas to specialize in providing sustainability resources for small and midsized enterprises (SMEs).
He served as an advisor in the launch of the University of Texas at Dallas’s first Sustainable Aviation Certificate.

As a DEI Ambassador and Co-founder of Faith @ Work AT&T and Past National President of Organization of Asian Indians he has led inclusion and equity-focused dialogues, volunteer programs, and employee engagement activities within AT&T.
In his recent role at AT&T, he is responsible for building market development and competitive intel strategy for Public Safety, focusing on critical infrastructure solutions.
