Specializing in capital campaigns, Emma has extensive experience leading fundraising initiatives, building and managing teams, and managing boards and volunteer leadership. With a focus on major gifts, she leads a passionate high performing development & communicaitons team at Great Springs Project to expand conservation and recreational opportunities from the Alamo to the Capitol.
A certified Fundraising Executive, Emma's expertise includes strategic planning, assessment, major gifts, events, and feasability studies. Prior to joining Great Springs project, Emma served as the Executive Director of Barton Springs Conservancy, where she lead the organization in an early completion of the capital campaign to rehabilitate the historic Barton Springs Bathhouse. Emma's experience working with city council and other elected officials, stakeholders, parks departments, and engaged community leaders informs her dedicated civic approach to attract sustaining support for Great Springs Project. Previously, Emma served in leadership roles at Planned Parenthood of Greater Texas, Colorado River Alliance, and LIFT Alliance. Emma holds a Bachelors of Arts in English Composition and Environmental Ethics from University of North Texas. Emma lives in Austin with her husband and young sons and enjoys swimming regularly at Barton Springs Pool.
