Amanda is the General Manager of the Trinity Glen Rose GCD, which primarily serves northern Bexar County in San Antonio and portions of Comal and Kendall counties in the Texas Hill Country. Her career in water began in 2007 and has taken her to various areas of Texas and New Mexico working with groundwater wells, wastewater, and water distribution for counties, water utilities, and Groundwater Conservation Districts (GCDs). She has found a passion working in the GCD realm for the last 12 years managing at two different GCDs, where she has served on regional water planning groups, groundwater management areas from east Texas to the Hill Country, the Texas Alliance of Groundwater Districts Board, including the Camp Bullis Sentinel Landscape. She has worked with numerous consultants ranging several fields and has managed various projects and vast operations while providing direction, transparency, and accountability to boards, public, and contractors and bridging any gaps. Managing groundwater resources for generations to come. She holds a B.S. in Resource and Environmental Geography with Water Policy as a focus from Texas State University in San Marcos.
