James Oliver is the former Chair of the Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raiser’s Natural Resources & Wildlife Committee, having served terms as Vice Chair and Chair through March 2024. James has served as a Director of Texas & Southwestern CattleRaisers since 2018. James and his family own and operate ranching operations in Crockett and Kinney Counties. James has also had a nearly 30-year career in the banking industry, primarily financing production agriculture operations from Texas through Montana. James is currently on the Board of Directors of Ozona Bank and serves as a Senior Vice President and Chief Lending Officer. James also serves on the Board of Directors of Texas Agricultural Land Trust, Texas Foundation for Conservation and the Texas Land Trust Council. James received his bachelors degree from Texas A&M University in Agricultural Economics.
