Susan Zellers is the Program Director at Ocean Exchange, a nonprofit whose mission is to accelerate the adoption of innovative solutions for healthy oceans and coastal systems.  She directs and manages the annual awards program that awards three $100,000 USD nondilutive awards each year. She serves as a mentor and coach to the annual applicants.
Prior to Ocean Exchange, she led the Marine Trades Association of Maryland as their Executive Director for 20 years.  She worked as a state lobbyist for recreational boating interests for both the boater and the trades and initiated a workforce development partnership creating entry level jobs for the trades.   Earlier, Susan held the appointed position of Director of Economic Development for the City of Annapolis, Maryland.
