Dr. Angus Friday is the Co-Chairman of the Island Resilience Partnership (IRP). He is a Grenadian physician, diplomat, and climate policy expert with a distinguished career spanning international diplomacy, sustainable development, and innovation in the blue economy.
Dr. Friday is also the chairman and co-founder of Azuros.ai, an AI-enabled investment platform. Additionally, he holds leadership roles as Executive Chairman of Atlantean BioSphere, Co-Chair of the Blue Innovation Institute, and advisor to the Caribbean Climate Smart Accelerator.
Dr. Friday has an extensive diplomatic background, having served as Grenada’s Ambassador to the United States, Mexico, and the United Nations. He also chaired the Alliance of Small Island States (AOSIS), advocating for climate resilience and sustainable development among vulnerable nations.
Dr. Friday holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from St. George's University in Grenada and an MBA from the University of Strathclyde in Scotland.
