With over 15 years of experience in the sports and material science industries, Doug is a passionate and dedicated entrepreneur who strives to create positive social and environmental impact through innovation and collaboration. As the President and Board Member of Filium Corp, he leads a team of talented scientists and engineers who work with clients and partners in the textile space to create high performance, breathable, sustainable clothing using their proprietary technology - Filium®.
In addition to his role at Filium Corp, He is also the Co-Founder of Zenkai Sports LLC, Co-Founder and Advisor of SportsShare Technologies Inc., Member of the The Post, Member of EcoAthletes, and Ambassador for High Impact Athletes.
Prior to getting involved in business, Doug spent 14 years as a Professional Ice Hockey player playing in the NHL, SEL, EBEL, AHL, ECHL and WHL winning 7 Championships.
Doug currently splits his time between Seattle WA and Vancouver BC.
