Dave Rice is a committed global advocate and influential leader within the United Nations Association (UNA) of the USA, where he works tirelessly to promote the mission and values of the United Nations at the grassroots level. With a deep passion for international cooperation, Dave focuses on advancing key UN initiatives, particularly in the areas of climate action, human rights, and global health.
Throughout his tenure with UNA, Dave has been instrumental in building partnerships and mobilizing communities to support the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). His work involves engaging diverse groups, from students and educators to policymakers and local leaders, to raise awareness about global challenges and encourage civic participation in addressing them.
An experienced speaker and advocate, Dave is known for his ability to connect local issues with global solutions, emphasizing the importance of collective action in creating a more peaceful, just, and sustainable world. His leadership continues to inspire others to take meaningful steps toward global change through education, advocacy, and community involvement. 
This passion led him to co-found SIAS International, a B (benefits) corporation committed to bringing sustainable solutions throughout the world.  Part of the revenues help support the nonprofit UNA-OC.
