Andrew Siegel is the Dallas Mayor’s Environmental Commission Representative for District 10, a role he has held since April 2022. In this position, Andrew plays a critical part in advising the City Manager and City Council on the implementation of the Comprehensive Environmental & Climate Action Plan (CECAP). The CECAP serves as a roadmap for the city’s efforts to improve quality of life, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and prepare for the impacts of climate change, all while fostering a healthier and more prosperous community.
Andrew’s work on the commission builds upon a deep understanding of the environmental challenges facing Dallas, such as the impacts of climate change, and incorporates data from greenhouse gas inventories to guide decision-making. His commitment to the environment is reflected in his efforts to engage with businesses, community organizations, residents, and stakeholders to ensure that the city’s approach to climate action is both effective and equitable.
