Thank you all for being here—friends, colleagues, and partners. Today’s gathering is small by design, but the work we’re here to advance couldn’t be more global. 

This morning marks the official launch of the Digital Asset Commission (DAC)—an evolution of the UN’s original Blockchain Commission for Sustainable Development, which many of you helped shape.

But this is not just a continuation—it’s a reset.

The world has moved beyond blockchain alone. And so must we. DAC is being established to govern the next era of digital assets—with frameworks rooted in real-world value, sovereign systems, and public-private cooperation.

This includes tokenizing real-world and nature-based assets, building geospatial and data infrastructures, and supporting innovation in AI, quantum, and stablecoin policy. Most importantly, it’s about doing so in a way that serves countries, communities, and nature.

We’re proud to launch this platform here at EarthX, alongside the Development Bank for Resilient Prosperity (DBRP), and with leaders like you from across diplomacy, finance, and technology.

What we’re building together—DAC, DBRP, and this forum—is about creating the governance layer for a new digital economy. Not one based on speculation—but on resilience, dignity, and long-term value.

Let’s use this time not just to discuss ideas—but to align on action.
